The combination of casual flying, competition, scale helicopters, night flying and an incredibly social atmosphere made Boom Strike 3 a standout event on the Australian RC helicopter calendar.
The event also attracted two significant international guests, Ben Storick from Las Vegas and Dr. Sean K. Hall from HeliDirect.
Ben Storick is an accomplished professional RC helicopter pilot and one of the recognised names in modern 3D flying, with an impressive international competition record. Dr. Sean K. Hall brings a different but equally valuable perspective through his work with HeliDirect, supporting pilots, manufacturers, events and the wider RC helicopter community.
Having international figures of this calibre travel to Australia is significant.
