Level 3: Intermediate Sport
0% Complete
Level overview
Level 3 strengthens nose-in orientation and introduces intermediate aerobatics. The focus shifts from basic survival to deliberate line work, precision, and stronger confidence when the helicopter points toward you.
Prerequisites
You should already be comfortable with circuits, figure eights, and consistent upright sport flight from Level 2.
Practice expectation
Expect roughly 25 to 35 flights as nose-in hover and aerobatic timing settle in.
What you'll learn
- •Hold and land from nose-in positions without panic corrections.
- •Combine loops, rolls, Immelmanns, Cuban eights, and coordinated circles.
- •Build the orientation discipline needed for autorotation and advanced sport flying.
